Dear Patients,

We now have access to COVID-19 ANTIBODY serological testing which is done through the lab with a blood test. It is covered by insurance. This is not the rapid finger stick testing as that has been found to have an accuracy level as low as 33% in some cases. Information for the swab testing is below. If you would like antibody testing you should be SYMPTOM-FREE for at least 8 days before getting tested. If you are not sure which test you should have done, Dr. Boas will advise you at the time of your appointment.

The testing is done through the lab which is currently taking all insurances and there is no added cost for you. If you do not have insurance, the lab is conducting the testing for a flat rate and they will send you a bill directly. Our office will not be charging anything at all to you as the patient.

All testing is done via appointment. At the time of your test you will need a copy of your insurance card (front and back) and photo ID. We are happy to assist in making copies for you, but to minimize contact you are welcome to make the copies at home.

In an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, in addition to social distancing, it is important to be tested especially if you believe you have been exposed to the virus. We have made our facility safe for all patients, and we have tele-health review of findings available to minimize "in person contact".
