Dr. Kara A. Boas is a second generation chiropractor and has grown up with the values of Thomas Edison “The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patient in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease.” She holds a Doctorate in Chiropractic from the University of Bridgeport graduating summa cum laude. Dr. Boas always wanted to pursue her dream of being a nutritionist and went on to receive a master’s degree as a Certified Clinical Nutritionist. She is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is proficient in the chiropractic and nutritional care from preconception all the way through the golden years.

Angel Izquierdo joined Boas Family Chiropractic in 2017. As the Office Manager and Patient Care Coordinator, she assists patients with all aspects of their health insurance and billing concerns. Angel understands the complexity that patients may face in regard to their health insurance and takes the time to review coverage, bill for services and answer any questions. Her goal is to reduce stress and encourage healing. In addition, Angel tries to accommodate patients’ requests when scheduling appointments. As a working mother of three, she understands the flexibility that is often needed.
When you come to Boas Family Chiropractic, you enter a warm and friendly environment and greeted by Angel’s smile. Patients often comment that they are treated like family! Angel’s passion to help patients suffering with pain or who want to maintain optimal health, is felt the moment you enter the Clinic.
